Camp BizSmart is unique among business camps and is not for everyone! Our students have passion for solving problems, designing new products, and changing the world. Successful graduates of this youth entrepreneurship program are ready to brainstorm how to bring the next iPhone to market, how Facebook continues to change social networking, and dream of starting up the next YouTube or Groupon. Your sons and daughters will be personally mentored and coached by successful entrepreneurs and executives from leading companies like Apple, Google, and Cisco. Offering a schedule that sets it apart from other business summer camps, the program is packed with incredible learning and growth opportunities.
In 2011, Camp BizSmart's teams of eager young entrepreneurs worked with top technology company NeuroSky, a fast-paced innovative company, on a brain science project to develop a sports performance tool for teens; and with the leader maker of electric motorcycles, Zero Motorcycles, to bring a unique and exciting electric "mini-moto" design to the company. In BizSmart's previous years, students have designed new products for other cutting edge companies like Hope Lab, Club One, Hara, Serious Materials, FRS, Sopogy, Tigo, Revolution Foods, Better World Books, Valence Energy and more.
During Camp BizSmart, students will:
- Learn the Secrets for Success by working hands-on in teams to create real inventions with inspirational Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and CEOs.
- Acquire and Achieve Skills in negotiation, collaboration, problem-solving, finance, marketing, and public speaking by expert mentors
- Develop and Hone leadership, business and project management skills with our fast-paced, fun, custom designed curriculum.
- Invent and Design prototypes with idea company WAGIC, which created special effects for the movies Transformers and Ironman.
- Pitch Ideas in the boardrooms of fast growing companies like Hara.
- Compete at Microsoft to win an invitation to a prestigious entrepreneur event

(3031 Tisch Avenue, 3 Plaza West, San Jose, CA 95128: Map)Camp BizSmart programs are specifically designed for middle and junior high students who are 11–15 years of age, which typically means they will be 6th–10th graders, however, we go by age 11–15, not by grade.
Students will do well in our camp who are curious, love to solve problems, and want to develop and gain new skills and techniques that will serve them well when working collaboratively in a team to create, support and defend their innovative solution to the real world business case that is provided by successful founder or c-level executive.
